Luxor Lighting has committed to participating actively in the Greater Angoulême Development Council, in order to increase more significantly and meaningfully its anchorage in the region. Benefitting strongly from citizen participation, and interaction between citizens and players, faced with the realisation that this region has been marked by changes but that its population is ageing and exposed to job instability, the Development Council has launched several think tanks to gather views and bring added value to the elected representatives of the Angouleme area.
In this context, Luxor Lighting has decided to participate in the various reflections led by the Greater Angoulême Development Council.
1/ March 2015 :
Mr. SCHOLZ joins the ʿBlueprint for a Local Social Dialogue body for employment trainingʾ project group. Mr. SCHOLZ thus becomes a member of the Steering Committee for the local employment committee.
This group’s mission consists of:
- identifying the players, tools and measures to support employment.
- alerting and giving the necessary recommendations to increase the appeal of the area.
2/ May 2016 :
Launch of the discussion and debate phase on the challenges raised by the new territorial cooperation map. Mr. SCHOLZ is succeeded by Ms. de TERNAY on the Development Committee. On this occasion discussions were held on the links between rural, peri-urban and urban areas. New project groups will be established in September, enabling Luxor Lighting to confirm its commitment to the reflection on the area.
