Reduce the impact of our activities

In its activities Luxor Lighting strives to reach the highest environmental standards in terms of conservation of natural resources, energy consumption and waste management.

Luxor Lighting will always ensure that the legal requirements are met at the very least, will demonstrate total transparency and implement a process of continuous improvement based on externally recognised performance indicators.

The extension of environmental management systems, complementary to quality management systems, encourages a policy of continuous improvement in this area.

We are ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 certified

• ISO 14001 is an international standard, issued by the International Organization for Standardization, and is the reference for organisations in the setting up of an environmental management system. Its objective is to help companies manage the impact of their activities on the environment and demonstrate the efficiency of their management.
• The ISO 45001 standard indicates the management requirements and method to put in place for health and safety in the workplace. The aim is to obtain better management of risk in order to reduce the number of accidents, to comply with legislation and improve performance.

A company’s activities can have an impact on the environment. We have identified the major harm factors and directives must be followed to minimise these factors (switching off lights in unoccupied premises, switching off machines and apparatus when not in use, controlling water consumption, alerting to leaks…)
